Congratulations on your decision to evaluate "Rig Anchor Solutions" anchor placement software. For those of you who are not familiar with the software installation process, this tutorial will instruct you on installation of the software.

This first section, of this tutorial, will cover those of you who have this software on compact disc. 

• To begin, insert the disc into your computer’s disc drive. When the disc loads, the auto run function (if enabled) will display a dialog box.

•  Select from this box the option to “open folder to view files”. If auto run is disabled, select computer from the start menu, then select the corresponding drive letter associated with your disc drive. 

• Once the folder has been opened select “Setup” from the list of files on the CD. 

• The Install Shield wizard will now start to help guide you through the process.

For those of you who intend to download this software from our website:

• After clicking “download”, a dialog box will be displayed asking you if you wish to “RUN” or “SAVE”. Select save, then another dialog box will appear asking you what destination location you wish the software to be downloaded to. 
• We recommend you install the software setup to your desktop for ease of access in the future, however, if you do not save to your desktop please take note of the location the file will be saved to as you will need this information to run the setup wizard after the download completes. 
• Download will take approximately 3-5 minutes with DSL connection.
• Once download completes, select “RASS.exe” from the download destination folder to begin the installation process.
• Upon starting wizard, the first screen will ask if you wish to install R.A.S.S. to your computer, to continue simply click next. 
• The next step in the installation process asks you to read through the End User License Agreement. If you agree to the terms and conditions of the ELUA, click the button next to “I accept the terms in the license agreement”. Failure to agree to the terms and conditions will terminate the installation of the software. 
• After agreeing to the EULA, click “next” to bring up the consumer information dialog box. This box asks you to enter User Name and organization to which this software will be installed to on your computer and if you would like to make program available to one or all users of the computer in which you are installing the software.
• After selecting the desired configuration, click next.
• The next dialog box will ask you to verify the destination drive that the wizard will install the files to. The wizard will automatically create a folder for installation, however, if this is not a suitable location you may create your own by clicking the button marked “Change”. Once destination location has been established, click next.
• The Install Shield wizard is now ready to install the software. Please verify all of the information presented in the dialog box and click back to change any errors found. After all the information is correct, click install to proceed. 
• The wizard will now install application data to your computer and add the icon to your desktop. This make take a few minutes. When all the files are written to their location the wizard will as you to click “Finish” to exit the wizard. 
• You are now ready to begin using the software!
